Emberfield is about quiet intensity — an inner heat that doesn’t erupt, but holds, accumulates, and transforms from within.
Built through layers of crimson, carmine and ember-toned pinks, the surface shifts between softness and pressure, dissolution and density. Created in mixed media on the canvas with acrylic, pigments, soft and oil pastels the work carries a tactile depth where material itself feels alive, responsive, and in motion. There is no fixed form — only a field of shifting sensation, where tenderness meets tension, and warmth carries an undercurrent of force.
